We are using our multimedia phone with bluetooth and WiFi. We are transfering our data one mobile to another mobile by Bluetooth. But maximum people are ignore about those. So we collect a article about the difference between Bluetooth and WiFi. I thik it makes clear your idea.

WiFi

WiFi has come from the word “Wireless Fidelity”. It is also a wireless communication medium often used to access internet services. WiFi are more effectively used in cafe, schools, companies and etc for faster internet connection. In WiFi technology there is a center access point with which a group of computers are connected and work together. WiFi works in a fixed range. Speed of WiFi depends on the number of people connected to a same access point.
WiFi uses 802.11 standards. It has much larger range then that of Bluetooth. WiFi is connected in a LAN (Local Area Network).
The latest WiFi updated is wireless N. it is fast because it uses MIMO (Multiple-In-Multiple-out) technology. It sends two or more than two data frame in one transmission.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a wireless communication medium which is often used for transferring data. It is used to transfer data such as song, videos, etc in a personal area network. It is used for the communication in a small range. Not all but master Bluetooth device can communicate with seven devices at a time. Bluetooth is not as secure as WiFi.
Bluetooth uses 802.15 standards. Maximum data rate of Bluetooth is in Bluetooth v1 that is 1Mbps, Bluetooth v2 that is 3 Mbps and Bluetooth v3 that is 24 Mbps. The new version of Bluetooth is v3 and v4. Best Bluetooth device has an effective range 100 ft. Bluetooth is not as costly as that of WiFi.
